Office Based Staff

Director and Founder
I have worked in the health sector for just over 20 years now and have been within the disability sector, more specifically, for the past 10 years in Mental Health, Child and Adolescent and NDIS extreme health complexities services. I am well connected within the sector and quite often called upon to assist other providers/agencies that have a challenging situation. I believe we, the community, are ONE TEAM working towards a common goal therefore I am always happy to assist and support where possible.
Some of my favourite moments working in the sector are, assisting NDIS participants maintain choice and control over their own lives. The past couple of years I have been assisting participants move out of the aged care facilities, and into Supported Independent Living houses, where they have regained control over the own lives, choosing their community in which they want to live in, their supports that they want, and that best suit them, and being comfortable in a place that they can call “HOME”.

CEO
With a strong background in Operations & Business Development and 6 years’ experience working with NDIS providers, my focus is on ensuring every interaction with our support staff and participants is an exceptional one, professional, respectful, and responsive.
Having worked with a variety of different types of disability both in formal and informal supports, I am dedicated to promoting independence and improving quality of life, and I am constantly seeking new ways to enhance and adapt our services to support people in achieving their goals.
What I find most rewarding and enjoyable, working in this sector, and particularly in this role is being able to positively impact the lives of both those participants we support and staff equally. Working with persons with disabilities offers a unique perspective and opportunity for personal growth and development, the work is challenging but also meaningful and inspiring.

People, Culture and Compliance Officer
Fresh to the disability sector, but not new to providing quality support, exceptional service and people-first care. With a background in hospitality, education, tourism, management, marketing and HR, my career journey has taken me from classrooms to corporate and even flying through the treetops as an adventure tour guide.
I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others, and I strive to ensure that everyone feels heard, seen, understood and valued, both in and outside of the workplace. I bring over a decade of experience and a genuine desire to learn from and help others – both of which I am excited to apply in my role as People, Culture & Compliance Officer at AdaptCARE.
When I am not in the office, you will probably find me climbing rocks with my partner, soaking up nature, escaping into a good book or roller-skating with my fluffy best friend, Bailey the Border Collie.

Office and Engagement Coordinator
I am an enthusiastic, outgoing, and compassionate person, I am thrilled to have joined the adaptCARE team. In this role, my focus is on improving our participants’ community engagement and involvement. To achieve this, I work within our community to create events and activities that foster connection and inclusion as well as researching and promoting opportunities that are already available with other existing providers.
My goal is to connect with other providers and gather information for not only adaptCARE’s participant base but for the entire community; if we have the information why not share it. Our aim is to promote positive change and inclusion. I am excited to use my skills and experience to contribute to the growth and success of adaptCARE’s existing knowledge, and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of participants, their families, and the community in general.

Administration Officer
I have spent the last 23 years working in the disability and aged care sector in various roles and upskilling along the way as required. Areas I have worked in are reception, accounts, finance, payroll, intake, HR and rostering. After working for 2 years in the intake team for an aged care provider I realised that my place and my passion was to be working in just the disability sector.
My years of experience allows me to match the right people to those most vulnerable in our community to live life and to be their best selves, also ensuring that the support professionals are also supported as part of the puzzle pieces that make up a participant roster. Outside of work, my time is spent with my dog Hugo and my friends and family.

I am a dedicated and passionate individual. With over a decade of experience in the disability sector, I have found my true calling in helping people. My role as a support professional at adaptCARE allows me to work with beautiful individuals, ensuring their voices are heard, and they can achieve their goals while living a life of respect, dignity, equality, and freedom.

The furry and feathery members of my family include Wendy the Great Dane X, Barney the mini-Aussie bulldog, Pip the French bulldog, Bubbles the cat, and Teeko the Green cheek conure. Interestingly, Teeko occasionally joins me at work, proving to be a delightful addition to the team, especially during interactions with participants.
